YOGA FOR PEOPLE WITH “PURPOSE”
You must align with your purpose in order to fulfill it. Yoga offers the perfect body, mind, spirit support tool.
This is not your normal yoga class. Yes, you’ll stretch and pay attention to your breath and other yoga stuff like that. But our focus will be on deepening the clarity of your purpose, on claiming balance in your life, on connecting with the divine support that exists for your purpose… And in the process you’ll also stretch your hamstrings, boost your immune system, and strengthen your back. Pretty cool, huh?
“Purposeful Yoga is a masterful blend of meditation, breathwork, and yoga for every body at every stage of practice. Sharon’s seemingly effortless guidance weaves each personal goal into an artful class tapestry, leading each person to a refreshed, restored, and rejuvenated experience. It’s always a great group of women that find their way to Sharon’s class, and I feel comfortable both socializing and staying quiet to myself depending on my needs that particular day.
Purposeful Yoga helps me be more present both in my work and with my important relationships. It’s the one self-care piece I never cut out and it carries me throughout my week. I highly recommend Purposeful Yoga to anyone needing some zen in their life! ”
Location: Livestream details
I’m using Zoom to stream the class. Zoom is relatively easy to use. I have it set so that your camera and audio will be off when you join me. That way you can be in your pjs if you want. But if you want to be seen or heard look for the mic & camera buttons. Tap on them to turn on your video or audio.
If you haven’t used Zoom before you’ll need to download the app prior to class. You can use a computer or mobile device. Here’s a short video explaining the process. https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362193
Zoom is getting lots of use right now with so many people telecommuting, offering yoga classes, etc. You’ll have a higher probablity of a good connection if you use the internet option to connect rather than calling in with your phone.

“Attending Sharon’s Purposeful yoga class is a spiritual experience for me that leaves me relaxed, content, and ready to move through the rest of my day with ease. The class has a great pace (the hour evaporates as if no time has passed at all).
I really look forward to the class. It is one of the highlights of my week. I am feeling stronger as a result of the class and feel I am using areas of my body that have not been used for a while. I love the resting meditation in corpse pose at the end of class. I love Sharon’s insightful and positive thoughts that lead us into our meditation.”
“I have practiced yoga off-and-on over the past 40 years. Last year I became a regular attendee at one of Sharon’s weekly classes because I know and trust Sharon, but also because I needed to get back into a daily commitment to my body. That commitment needed to be healthy, gentle, and all encompassing. Sharon’s class has helped me do that!
“Sharon checks in each session with everyone…individually…to see what each of us needs. She then chooses poses/movements that support those needs. Even in a particular pose, Sharon offers options, because some days are better than others for our bodies and our minds.
In addition to attending Sharon’s class weekly, I have purchased a traveling mat and I make sure that whether I’m home or somewhere else, yoga happens for me…daily. It has made a remarkable difference…a life-changing difference. Thank-you Sharon!”
